Item nine, are the Cowboys okay at backup quarterback?
If they, if they loved and were comfortable with Joe Milton, why would they ever have brought in Sam Howell?
I think, I think they wanna see these guys in preseason action.
Maybe I'm wrong there, but I think, a, a lot of things get decided in training camp.
I wanna see these guys in a game day environment, even if it's exhibition football.
I, I don't think they're fully comfortable with Joe Milton.
I don't think you can be.
If you look at the pro football reference numbers for on target throws, had Joe Milton qualified in terms of the minimum, pass attempts to be on that list, he would've been dead last in the, in the league.
So it's something you cannot be comfortable with.
You had to bring in competition.
Sure sounds like early on he's still the favorite to be the number two guy, but I, I'm not sure what your take is there.
But we'll see in the preseason, I guess.
Yeah.
Here's the, the problem, w- my prediction for preseason, I think we're gonna see the two guys do what they do.
Sam Howell Because we're not gonna see Dak Prescott.
Yeah.
Sam Howell's gonna be very solid and, and competent, and bus driver, and Bazooka Joe is gonna be, have moments of spectacularness, and frankly, if the Cowboys lose Dak Prescott for the second half of a game, they're gonna want the bus driver, not the moments of spectacularness.
Which takes us finally to item 10, the final word on this-
