Love Kurt Signetti.
Kurt Signetti has now become the Steve Spurrier and Nick Saban of college football coaches today.
He gives you an attitude, he gives you direction, and most importantly, he gives you winning.
That's what that guy has brought to Bloomington, Indiana.
You know, I keep saying this story all the time about Indiana basketball and then Indiana football.
Anytime somebody talks to me about Indiana, it's their hoop program.
It's got nothing to do with their football program until this man showed up in Bloomington.
I can't tell you how big of a storyline that was, him coming from James Madison and going into Bloomington, and him being able to turn that program around.
And not only turn it around, he basically turned it inside out and turned it into a national power.
One of the greatest reclamation projects in the history of college sports is what they did in Bloomington with Kurt Signetti.
It's been remarkable.
The story is everywhere.
And by the way, what will be the encore this coming season for Indiana Hoosiers football?
Are they gonna be able to continue the trend?
He brought 12 players in from James Madison.
I can't wait to see that storyline.
Ohio State, another story.
Ryan Day, absolutely each and every single year, is always on the hot seat when you're talking that program.
That program has produced some of the best high school and college football pro- prospects in the history of the draft.
Every year, Ohio State players are now going in the first round, like they did back in the day when we were at The U. Ohio State's season this year, that is without a doubt one of the absolute best rosters in all of football.
They've got everything they need.
Then you got Texas.
2026 is gonna tell us a lot about a lot of college football teams this year.
I happen to think that Steve Sarkisian is one of the most overrated coaches in all of college football.
Dude, you can't have all these five-star guys and not produce national championships.
I mean, Mack Brown, when he was there, was bringing in some of the best talented kids around the country, and they were winning, and they were winning big, and they ended up winning a national championship.
Sarkisian has been now in Austin for almost 10 years, and he's gotta win.
That is a program that has more five-star kids than any program in the country.
You can't be in Austin and not win national titles.
Look, I don't know who's more overrated, Notre Dame or Texas.
Every year we talk about these two, and every single year we talk about these two programs as being the preeminent programs in all of college sports.
Well, dude, we haven't seen a national title in Indiana for Notre Dame since 1988.
We've only seen one national championship since 1968.
That was the Texas Longhorns, and we saw it with Mack Brown in the early 2000s.
Those two programs, we talk about these guys like these guys are perennial winners.
Hey, look, you gotta win national championships.
You've gotta put that national title on the trophy shelf for you to be considered a true national power.
Texas has all the players that they need, and that's gonna be one of the biggest storylines this year is how well they play.
Same with Notre Dame.
Look, hard not to root for Marcus Freeman.
Absolutely love Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame.
Marcus Freeman, without a doubt, one of the absolutely best coaches in all the country.
And who would've thought he would've been an upgrade from Brian Kelly?
Brian Kelly leaves for LSU.
Brian Kelly goes down to Baton Rouge and thought he was gonna win a national championship, and he actually even said that he was not gonna be able to have the resources in Bloomington for them to be able to win a title.
Well, that's changed, make no mistake about it.
