Sam, we got some breaking news as it pertains to you breaking news about the Dallas Stars TV broadcast, which will no longer be on Victory Plus.

So fir- I wanna start off the same way I started off my article.
The team declined to comment, so I don't have any official word from the Dallas Stars on this.
Um- I like how you started with that before you- I just wanna make sure that, that, that they're aware the, the actual news.
It's like, disclaimer.

That was a disclaimer.
This is not, this has not been confirmed, but I have multiple sources that have told me the Dallas Stars will no longer be on Victory Plus.
They will be moving their game broadcast to Amazon Prime Video.
So that, what that means is essentially, it's a, it's another app.
It's not gonna change a- Let everybody know I was not one of those sources.
You were not one of those sources.

I don't use anything Craig Ludvig says in, in anything serious.
No, but it, what it means is essentially the Stars, instead of being on Victory Plus, they will be on the Prime Video, which is, I think the Seattle Kraken are the only team that is, their local broadcasts are on Amazon Prime right now.
It'll still be, for everyone who's asked so far, the s- the team is the same.
The, the Josh, Razor, Brian, and Sevy, they all work for the Dallas Stars.
They do not work for Victory, so there should be no change with that.
It's essentially gonna mean that all the Stars local, or all the Stars, regional games will be on the Prime Video app, as well as the, you know, the, the channels on the TVs and all that kind of stuff.
But the main part of that is it'll be p- That's my favorite part, the channels on the TVs it- it'll be part of Well, 'cause it's not even a channel technically.
I don't even know what to call it, but- It's a streaming service it'll be part of the Prime subscription.
That's the biggest part of this, is that it's not, as of now, any sort of, like, new package that you have to pay for.
It's expected to be included in Amazon Prime.
So while that is another subscription for some people, very many people are Prime members for- Right, not everybody has Amazon Prime Video for just ordering, so it shouldn't be as big of a deal as something that was some random, third-party app or service that, that we're gonna be doing for that.
So, that's the way that it's set up for the Stars.
That will be starting this season.
All signs pointing toward Victory Plus kind of, kind of being done for, for, for good.
I think the, the Anaheim Ducks made it clear they wanted to terminate their contract in July, claiming they had some missed payments and things like that.
The Texas Rangers went over to their other network, B- Boz- how do you say it?

But, so a, a lot of teams have already left the, the high school football games this year I think have been, a lot of them have been pulled from that network just as the Texas high school football starts.
They were signed a five-year contract to- Yeah do that, I think.

Yeah, so the, the deal was originally, for Victory Plus, was supposed to be a seven-year deal.
They made it through two, so, looks like that's what, the way they're going.
And then on top of that, it seems like this is not just a Dallas Stars thing.
It seems like there are four to five other teams that might be part of this bigger deal with Amazon and the NHL moving forward.
