You know, you know, Scott, I saw, you know, I, I saw David Stearns in a press conference talking about the mess of the Mets, and that's what it is.
It's the mess of the Mets.
Do you think he survives it, one, here?
And secondly, what do you do here on the trading deadline?
Do you just pack up everybody and move everyone and start anew?
You spent more money than the Los Angeles Dodgers this off-season.
Yeah.
What do the Mets do, the messy Mets?
Where do they go?
Yeah.
You know, o- outside of Freddy Peralta, who's in the last year of his contract, which I actually thought was a decent trade, but he's been brutal, I don't think they move anybody.
There, there's been some Francisco Lindor talk about him being traded, but he's hitting 210, Dan.
He's got five years at 30-plus million dollars left on his contract.
I mean, outside of maybe San Francisco, which seems to be desperate for players, but wh- who's gonna trade for that contract?
So, they may want to move some players, but I don't think ultimately they will.
And they got an interim manager, and I can't help th- that they probably are saying, "L- let's try this one more time."
as far as Stearns surviving, you know, the word is yes, but then they also had the word of their manager, Mendoza, surviving, and look, l- look, he got fired.
So, I would not be surprised for a move, but I don't think he will.
I, I think he does survive, and I think they go one more time with this unit and see if they can turn things around next season
