Obviously, the Mets have put a bunch of people at first base that aren't first basemen.

How do you think David Stearns will approach this going forward with how the season turned out?

You know, I, I think they have to address it, and that is not a knock on Jared Young, who I think has been really good.

But on a good team, I think he is a bench player who can play a little bit here and there.

So that being said, who did they miss out on last year?

Murakami.

I wonder if there's any part of them that says, "We're not gonna make that mistake again."

My understanding with Soto, I mean, he's the, the MVP of NPB.

At one point in the World Baseball Classic, he was the only NPB guy in Ja- Japan's first six hitters.

Everyone else was here.

So this is a real baseball player here.

I think people think he has more chase than Murakami, but less swing and miss, not as much power, so he's in that range.

A lot of teams are gonna be interested.

I remember there were a bunch of teams that went to see him in May.

It's not gonna just be the Mets.

But man, in a weak free agent class- Yeah this is a great option for them if you think you can handle it here.

And yeah, I, I, I don't know for sure that this is gonna be a priority, but for me, it would be something I would certainly pursue.
