Denver Opts For Another Go-Round With J.K. Dobbins Despite Injury History
The Denver Broncos resigned running back J.K. Dobbins today, with Luca Evans of the Denver Post reporting that the deal was for two years. with terms undisclosed. The move ensures that the Broncos will have their leading rusher from last season back, and Dobbins seemed especially pleased to be returning to Denver.

So I would say the number one biggest contributor to this Broncos turnaround has gotta start at the absolute top, and that is with this Walter Penner ownership group, right?
Without them, I don't think Sean Payton comes here to be the head coach.
He talked about it multiple times.
That is one of the biggest reasons why he wanted to be here.
But when you are owners that are invested in the team, invested in the community, invested in giving these players the ultimate resources to be successful, that's where it's gotta start, and that's exactly what they've done.
They've come in here.
They've embraced the community.
They've-- they're building a state-of-the-art facility for the teams.
They're investing in the strength and conditioning and nutrition programs, right?
Giving Sean Payton all of the tools necessary at hi- at his disposal to be able to do that.
they're building out a new stadium for the fans.
They're always investing back into the community, you know, giving, helmets that they're donating for free to all the local youth, programs and football teams to be able to ensure, you know, safer practices.
it's an amazing thing, and I think that it really starts there at the top because when you're a team, when you're a player and, and you're a coach, and you can see the kind of effort and care that the owners have, it's gonna make you work harder.
So they've gotta be number one at the top of the list.
Number two is definitely gonna be Sean Payton.
Sean Payton's ability to come in here and read the room and be so maniacal about his way, his vision, and understanding and, and just that belief that he has that the way that he does things is going to be the proper way.
and you gotta love it, and it really started in that Russell Wilson year.
I mean, obviously, he tried to make it work as much as he could with Russell Wilson.
We know that it didn't work out, but he was building out the culture and building out the team, getting, evaluating which players he felt like deserved to stay on the team, who did he have to move on from, whether it was character related and how they fit within the locker room or just overall what they needed from specific players on the field, and he did a masterful job from the top down, from every single move
