The Pistons get it done at home.
Little Caesars Arena was rocking.
Game one of this best of seven second round match up goes to Detroit.
Now Eagle, the Hall of Famer Grant Hill and Robbie Hummel will break it down.
Cavaliers tied this game with just under five minutes left in the fourth quarter after it felt like everything had gone against them.
They had momentum, and then Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren happened on three straight possessions.
Yeah, they really closed out well.
I thought, I thought both teams did some really good things and s- there's some things to clean up.
But, you know, it wasn't this gaudy performance from Cade Cunningham to get the win.
Team effort, six guys double figure, and down the stretch, the all-stars took over on both ends.
Well, and I think for Cleveland y- you're absolutely right, Grant, is there are some things to build on.
You build on the fight.
Certainly the turnovers have got to be cleaned up.
You've gotta be better on the defensive glass.
That's easier said than done against this Pistons roster.
And honestly, James Harden is gonna have to play better.
They've gotta get more from their star guard.
Donovan Mitchell, th- they, they know what they're getting from him, but if you're not getting Harden as well, it's gonna be tough to win this series.
Cavaliers have to at least be hopeful that Harden found something in that fourth quarter as he finally looked more like himself, but a little too late as the Pistons claim game one, 111-101.
