Dickinson Shares Homecoming Advice With Sharks Teammate Michael Misa

At the San Jose Sharks morning skate before facing the Detroit Red Wings, Dickinson looks back on last year's return to Toronto, playing in a rink where he watched plenty of games growing up while friends and family held up signs during warmups. His advice for Michael Misa's first game back home: take it all in, have fun and be ready to play. He calls it maybe the most special game after your NHL debut. He also remembers facing Misa for years in youth hockey, mostly losing to him, and only finding out much later that Misa was younger. Now the two live together and play in the NHL.
