I mean, it stinks, but we, we have them to root against.

And man, Milwaukee, that was the team to me.

Milwaukee needed to go get Tarik Skubal.

Made so much sense.

That, like, do they become World Series favorites with the lineup that they have, the bullpen that they have, with Mizerowski and Skubal available multiple times in a short series?

Right.

Like, it-- they, they might even be favorites.

And the combo.

Yeah, certainly.

So, yeah, unfortunate, but hey, the Dodgers are the team that come away with them.

And you know what?

Here's the thing too.

They have a great farm system.

They have a great player development staff.

The Dodgers aren't just a team that is well-funded and they do all the deferred money.

Like, they are as good as anybody in baseball at player development, and acquisitions of players.

Like getting- Yep Zaheer Hope for Michael Busch, and that's how this deal happens.

Right.

You get, Mike Sirota for Gavin Lux.

Like, they find these guys, and they just do such a great job, and it, it's very frustrating 'cause we, we wanna see the Mets be like the Dodgers.

But hey, the Dodgers are going for it as, as they always will.

And if you want a positive spin here, whether the Dodgers win the World Series or not, when we get to the off-season, because Tarik Skubal got traded, he is ineligible to receive the qualifying offer.

So if the Mets and Steve Cohen and David Stearns decide now is the time to go try to give that 10-year blah, blah, blah deal to a starting pitcher for Tarik Skubal, the Mets will lose no draft picks in the process.

So that's a, I guess, a positive spin zone on it.
