Miami Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said Philadelphia Eagles knew Green Bay Packers blitz packages in 2024 from social media fan videos while discussing Week 1 prep on "The NFL Report."

Let's get to, to that story.
So he's the new head coach of the Dolphins.
He was talking about week one prep today.
They play the Raiders.
And he told this story about 2024's opener back when he was the DC in Green Bay and the Packers played the Eagles in Brazil.

I didn't really think about it as much until we hired Kevin Patula, and he told me that before we played them in Brazil, he had half my pressures on tape from training camp from people that videoed it and put it in, online, Twitter, et cetera.
And then he even I remember we had a pressure that I had never run, so there's no way he could've known about it, and they knew it was coming.
And he said that they saw that pressure on a video.
So I, I mean, yeah, it's kind of, kind of disappointing.
But at the same time, I'm really not sure what you can do about it, you know?
All right.
So teams are still stealing signs.
If, if the information is there, you should have people on your coaching staff combing social media to try to get any sort of advantage, and it worked.
Jalen Hurts against the Blitz certainly seemed like he knew he was, what was coming in, in that game.
He was six for seven for 91 yards and a touchdown and 158.3 passer rating according to Next Gen Stats.
So I think it really, the strategy of it worked.
And it's interesting this year traveling around training camps, Andrew, and seeing how some teams are trying to combat this.
Yeah, just to be clear, allegedly the sign stealing happened from social media videos at Packers training camp in Green Bay.
Fans in the stands just taking videos with their phone, "Hey, Mom, look, I'm at Packers practice," but they're posting the videos.
Somebody made a great catch.
Somebody, you know, broke a tackle, and that's where they got it.
Yes.
And now Green Bay has ushers walking around with signs that they flip when they're not supposed to be filming that say, "Please protect our plays."
So we'll see if they protect their plays a little more this year.
