What will you miss most about A.J.?
I mean, just the, the relationship we had, the brotherhood and things like that.
you know, some things you, you look back and you, you know, we had a good time here.
We had a great time here.
the things that we did, things we accomplished on the field, off the field, you know, you always cherish those moments.
Yeah, that's my big brother.
you know, I wish him nothing but the best.
You know, it's a business.
he helped me, you know, grow, on my game and, gain, gain more confidence, so I'm thankful for him, man.
You know, I love him as a big brother.
Anytime you lose a great player like him, it, you know, it hurts, and he's, he's a great, great friend of mine.
He was a great teammate, in, in our locker room.
But there's a business side to this thing, so, everybody did what was, what was best for them.
I learned a lot, not only on the field, but off the field.
you know, just him holding me accountable, you know, day in and day out and, pushing, pushing me to, to be the best that I can be.
It's, it's a business, man, sadly.
You know, we, we've done a lot of stuff together, you know, on this team the last four years and, you know, this is just the business, and, we gotta move on.
Do you think his desire to play elsewhere negali- negatively impacted the season last year?
No.
No.
I don't know where that's come from.
I don't think so.
I think this is more of a, you know It sounds terrible, but like a, you know, thank God it's over.
You know, it was a slow pain of just, is he in?
Is he out?
You know, we, we didn't really know, and that really wasn't our focus as a team.
Our team, especially at the offense, like, we, we gotta keep these, these wheels moving.
We got new guys coming in.
We got rookies coming in.
You know, again, we've gotta build that culture.
Every year it's, it's, you know, can we, can we continue the culture of the last five years that we've built?
You know, can we bring these new guys along?
Can we bring these young guys along?
And so our job's already hard enough.
And so the mindset of just pushing on and, you know, not letting the, the A.J., whatever you even call it, debacle, or what are you guys calling it?
Things.
Saga.
A.J.
saga, you know?
you know, but yeah, I don't really spend much time thinking about it just because we already have a hard enough time as it is of learning new concepts and bringing the new guys that we have from, you know, undrafted free agents to free agents, rookies.
We're, we're already trying to bring them along, so-
