Early 2027 Draft Positional Needs for the Saints

Yes, the draft is around a year away, but the positional needs are already obvious.

Hey, we do have some breaking news, ladies and gentlemen.

We have breaking news.

According to Adam Schefter, there's a trade.

The Saints are sending veteran linebacker Dion Jones to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for running back Zamir White.

All right, so running back Zamir White is coming to New Orleans.

So that, it may look like that maybe the Devin Neal experience may be gone or something.

They probably got some news in, in regards to, Devin Neal being, you know, out for some time, man.

It's unfortunate.

We know that on the first carry, Devin Neal, ran a toss play, limped out of bounds, and we didn't see him anymore.

So probably re-aggravated a hamstring.

And, so the New Orleans Saints are soliciting help from Zamir White.

So who is Zamir White?

Some of you probably don't know.

He- I believe he's from the University of Florida, if I'm not mistaken.

He's a guy who played in 45 games total, in his career.

He has 198 rushes for 736 yards and two touchdowns.

He was more of a backup running, back when Brandon, you know, when, excuse me, Josh Jacobs, was with the Raiders.

He was more of a backup guy, but he's a, he's a big physical, running back.

He, he's a guy that is, you know, kind of remind me of that, that kind of that Mark Ingram type size.

He's a little bit bigger.

He's 5'11", 227 pounds.

So once again, the New Orleans Saints are sending Dion Jones to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for Zamir White.

So Zamir White is coming to New Orleans.

That's, breaking news right now according to Adam Schefter.

All right, so I don't know what this means for a lot of these guys like Ty Chandler, what this mean for Kendre Miller.

I, I don't know.

But if you making trades for guys like this, I, I, I would expect for the New Orleans Saints to wanna keep them on the roster.

So Zamir White is gonna be on this roster somewhere.

I can't see them, you know, making a trade, you know, for somebody that they just gonna cut next week.
