Emilien Pitre, Mitch Voit and Nicolas Carreno | Mets Prospect Highlights

Acquired by the Mets from the Tampa organization in the Freddy Peralta deal, Emilien Pitre is a smooth swinging lefty hitter that paid immediate dividends in his Double-AA debut for Binghamton going 2-for-4. He joins new teammate Mitch Voit, the Mets fith-ranked prospect, who continued his hot hitting on Tuesday night with three more hits, a pair of RBI and two runs scored. The Brooklyn Cyclones unleashed 21-year old southpaw Nicolas Carreno, a top-30 prospect against Wilmington where he struck out eight in 5.2 innings and did not allow a hit.
