Evgeni Malkin on his strong start, enjoying hockey, and the Penguins' playoff hopes

Speaking from Sweden ahead of an overseas game, Penguins star Evgeni Malkin reflects on his history playing in the country, including international play in 2006 and a 2008 regular season game against Ottawa. Malkin says he is happy with his start to the season and is trying not to overthink things like a potential new contract, instead focusing on enjoying hockey every day. He also pushes back on preseason expectations that counted Pittsburgh out, pointing to a coaching change and new faces as reasons the team can compete for a playoff spot.
