He definitely earned it.
What, do you think he's possibly waiting to see what Pat, what's gonna happen with Pat as well?
No- Do you think that's part of it?
I, honestly, I think he just is I think, I think with the season ending early for, for the Chiefs, I think he just kinda got into that mode where it's like, "You know what?
We've played an extra season over the last decade, you know, with all the playoff games and all that.
Man, I'm just going to enjoy this time off.
I'm going to, watch the combine."
And bef- I, I honestly believe that you'll have an answer before the draft.
I, I think he's that kinda guy.
If he's gonna retire, he's not gonna leave Andy Reid and Brett Veach in a, in a, in a lurch where they're like, "Oh my God, Travis, you know, we could've, we could have drafted a new tight end- or we could've extended Noah Gray and inst- you know, because we thought you were coming back, and you're not."
I think that he will let them know before the draft and, let the world know before the draft, and that's gonna be that.
But that's just my, that's just my gut feeling on that.
Whether I'm right or wrong- Yeah I have no idea.
I mean, I- I mean, I, I, I, I hope you're right.
I don't think he's gonna pull an Andrew Luck.
I think that was, I think that was one of the biggest, biggest disappointments in the NFL was when Andrew Luck, right before the season started, says, "Eh, I'm retiring.
I'm done."
And I understand why he did it.
I totally get it.
He was getting the, the crap beat out of him week in and week out.
I mean- Right they weren't putting together an offensive line that was doing him any good.
And- I watched his last game in person.
Where was that at?
Was that the one- In the city.
The Blizzard Was it, was it really?
I guess I didn't realize it was.
That was his last game.
That's crazy.
so yeah, I, I don't think that Kelce will do that to the Chiefs.
I think he has more respect for the organization and everybody up, up in, upstairs.
