Freeman: ND must focus on execution, not emotion
Marcus Freeman explains how his Notre Dame team locked in to dominate the second half against Wisconsin.

Coach, a lot changed in the second half.
What was your message in the halftime locker room?
One, I told 'em it was gonna be a struggle.
It's Luke Fickell coach teams are gonna fight you.
They're gonna be tough.
But we had to really just let go of the emotion, everything that's gone in the past, and just focus on execution.
I think that first half we were pressing a little bit, I was pressing.
We just need to relax and just go focus on doing your job.
As simple as that.
And we did a much better job of execution.
So what allowed your entire offense to start clicking in the second half?
It is Obviously being able to run the ball helped tremendously, and the offense stayed on track because we were able to have some successful runs.
Now it gives CJ a chance to, to really kinda dissect what he wants to do in the pass game.
And so the, the establishment of the rush game, the run game really helped us on offense.
You talked to your team about playing at Lambeau Field.
How special was this opportunity?
You think of the history with Curly Lambeau and Notre Dame, the history of the Green Bay Packers.
There's a lot of parallels with the Notre Dame, University of Notre Dame, but obviously our football program too.
And so, it's, gratitude to h- to be on this field, to play this opponent, in, in this program.
It's, a lot of gratitude.
