Giants RB Cam Skattebo Held to Zero Touches in 34-27 Loss to Saints

Cam Skattebo had no carries and no targets as the New York Giants fell 34-27 to the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. It was the first time in his career he was active for a game without a touch. He played just six snaps after a drop in the backfield rotation that followed four fumbles this season, including last week's turnover at the Washington 24 that cost the Giants a shot at a game-winning kick in an overtime tie with the Commanders. Head coach John Harbaugh said the lack of touches wasn't by design and insisted Skattebo wasn't benched, explaining that the Giants simply didn't call runs while he was on the field.
