Giants Trade for Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy After Jaxson Dart's Season-Ending Knee Injury

The New York Giants have traded a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for quarterback J.J. McCarthy , the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The move comes after starter Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending knee injury. Jameis Winston led the 2-1 Giants to a win on Sunday but has completed just 51% of his passes since taking over. McCarthy finished his time in Minnesota with 1,632 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
