The Green Bay Packers have a ton of decisions to make this off-season, including the impending free agency of linebacker Quay Walker.
Walker has been a solid player for the Packers over the past four years since he was drafted in the first round in twenty twenty-two.
But Walker's fr- price tag might be too much for Green Bay in free agency, and they already have another solid inside linebacker in Edgin Cooper.
So they could look to replace Walker with a cheaper option, and that could include Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean.
Dean was in the same draft class as Walker.
He was actually projected to be a first-round pick like Walker, but his injury history allowed him to fall to the third round to Philadelphia.
He's had some solid years for the Eagles.
He has familiarity playing under Jonathan Gannon as they crossed over when Gannon was the defensive coordinator in Philadelphia.
And now that Gannon's in Green Bay, it could make a lot of sense for them to add Dean to their defense, though they should be cautious of his injury history as he has missed a lot of games in his time in the NFL.
