Connor McDavid's having a great year again this year.
20-game point streak.
He's doing extremely well.
He recorded an assist on his 29th birthday to extend the point streak to 20 games for the first time in his career.

What sticks out to you the most about what we're seeing right now from Connor McDavid?
Obviously, it's so easy to find great things, but he really does.
And of course, the big question now, will he reach 50 goals this season and 1,200 career points before the playoffs?

Okay, so, Edmonton Oilers currently have their dads on this road trip.
It's the, the father trip, and, you know, during, I think, last night's game, Gene Principe from, Sportsnet was asking, Brian McDavid, who's Connor's dad, about just kinda what stands out, and, you know, I'll, I'll go to what McDavid's dad said.
He, he looks "Connor looks like he's playing with freedom.
he just looks free and loose and just is, you know, trying things that maybe he wasn't trying earlier on in the season."
And he also said that, like, you know, as good of a player as Connor McDavid is, confidence is so big, and right now you look at McDavid, and you're going, "Oh, yeah, this guy's playing with You know, confidence is just, you know, exuding from his pores right now."
So, you know, that- that's the thing, when you, when you've got the greatest player on Earth who feels like he's playing like the greatest player on Earth, you know, it's such a dangerous combination.
You know, I think, I think confidence is such an important thing in all facets of life.
So, what was your second question?
How many points can he get, like 200, 300?
Sure, 300 points, I'll, I'll put them down for it.
Well, it's funny 'cause there's always a milestone you have to reach, right?
Is it, 50 goals this season, you know, roughly get around that 1,200-point mark.
But, phenomenal what we're seeing here, and, Drew, it, I mean, look, anybody can watch a game of Connor McDavid and say, "Wow, how talented he is."
I like there- I like what Michael said there, and of course, Connor's dad, about how free he's playing with.
It seems like every single time he touches the puck, a, a big chance happens.
Yeah, I think for me, something that's not talked about enough here is he's clearly the greatest player in the world.
Now, I think one of the reasons that he's playing so free now is the addition of Zach Hyman back in their lineup.
And I think that a lot of non-hockey fans think like, "Oh, it'd be so easy to play with a Connor McDavid or an Auston Matthews," right?
And certainly, there's things that those guys do that no one in the world's, world can do.
But Connor McDavid needs the puck on his stick, and there's not many guys in the NHL that are as good at retrieving pucks as Zach Hyman is.
And I think that a lot of those guys get confidence from having the puck on their stick, and I think earlier in the year without Zach Hyman, the Edmonton Oilers were chasing the, the game a lot.
And Connor McDavid cannot be Connor McDavid when he's chasing the game a lot.
So I think it's, like, I don't think it's a coincidence at all that Zach Hyman returns to the lineup, Connor McDavid starts touching the puck way more.
They start having way more offensive zone time.
He starts scoring, his confidence builds.
So I just wanna give a shout-out to Zach Hyman, 'cause I think he's had a huge role, kind of, and I don't even know if you wanna call it a resurgence, but back to helping Connor McDavid be the Connor McDavid that we know.
