Especially the NFL, like what I've kinda learned is like everybody's good, bro.
Like, I mean, you get like Heisman Trophy winners, the best player in college football, who don't pan out in the NFL.
but like to me it seems to be like the differentiator is like that mental side, like obviously, you know, mental toughness.
But like kinda what you're alluding to is like the details, like, you know, you kinda need every edge you can get.
But, like when you went to DN, like it seemed like it was a natural fit.
Were you kicking yourself like, "Bro, like, why haven't I been doing this the whole time?"
just I, 'cause I still, because I still made it to the NFL, I wasn't kicking myself too bad.
I, I, I believe that everything happens for a reason.
I believe God put me in a position to do the things I was supposed to do to create the story that I was supposed to create.
Who knows if I would've made it to the NFL if I didn't have the background that I had, you know?
I could've just been another DN that ends up having 11, 12 sacks at Miami, Ohio and gets lo- overlooked, you know?
So I don't Sometimes I do think back like, man, what if Or sometimes I think back, what if I had stuck with quarterback?
I probably wouldn't have made it, you know?
I would've tried my hardest, but that's a hard spot to make it at.
So I'm like, yeah, I definitely If I, if things, roles were reversed and I stayed, played DN my whole life, I think I would've-- I could think I, you know, things would be a lot different.
I would be in a, a, that probably, I would be in the same position I think.
But- Well, that's a good perspective too the learning.
Yeah, the learning, the learning cues that I had to go through late in the game as of like some, some guys been playing DN since high school, so they understand the, how to get off and how to make a move, and then, you know, what a offensive tackle is gonna do.
It took me a little second to get there because I was late to the game, so.
But like on one hand too, you could argue maybe that helped you 'cause they might have looked at you as an upside guy, like, you know, who knows.
Like obviously I'm, I'm sure you're still developing, which would be another question, but like one thing I wanna point out about this whole, you know, changing positions, to me like that comes off as like a very selfless and like very mature-
