Hammaker proud of his efforts in title chase
Seth Hammaker discusses the disappointment of crashing on a rainy Philadelphia Supercross track, but reflects on what he feels was a really strong season where he was in contention for the title.

It sure was, and to see you up on the podium after that first lap was surprise, I think, for everybody.
I know this isn't the series outcome you wanted.
Walk us through your emotions and what your thoughts are heading towards Salt Lake.
Yeah, I'm definitely bummed.
had big, you know, title hopes for this season, but, hey, was racing a tough competitor, and congratulations to Cole and his team.
you know, they rode r- you know, he, he was riding unreal this year.
So, felt like for me, I, took a step up this season, even though it may, it may not show in the results, side of things.
But, I feel like consistency, I was riding good, and, you know, just nothing really fell into place the way, I had, I had hoped.
So, all in all, still a good season so far.
Got one more in Salt Lake, and go try and win that, and carry this momentum into outdoors.
But as far as tonight, I felt really good on the track.
Glad to be somewhat all right from that first lap crash, and, yeah, just a little banged up.
But, s- happy to salvage a podium again, and, thanks to the whole team, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki, my whole, family and friends.
awesome to race here in Philly every year.
