Happy Opening Day, Giants Fans
MLB's long winter's nap, not including Spring Training, ends as San Francisco Giants host New York Yankees.

I'm Joe Rutledge with Giants Roundtable for Roundtable Sports.
After all the spring training games and after everything's been said and done, the San Francisco Giants are going to be featured in the MLB opening night game on Wednesday night.
The Giants open the se- season at Oracle Park.
They host the New York Yankees.
First pitch is slated for 8:05 PM Eastern Time.
It'll be shown on Netflix.
The streamer will have pre-game activities beginning at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
Now, the Giants are gonna have Logan Webb take the ball for the opener against the Yankees' Max Freed.
And of course, the Yankees come in with Aaron Judge, the big slugger coming in to try and hit a home run in the opening game out of Oracle Park.
But the Giants are gonna lean on Webb to keep the Yankees lineup in check and hopefully bring Tony Vitello his first MLB victory as a manager in the big leagues.
Now, the Giants finished up their exhibition play, their spring training play, with an 18 and oh result against the Montreal on Tuesday night at Oracle Park.
So all the exhibition games are done, spring training games are done, everything's done.
It's all, it's all over with now.
So the Giants get the chance to be in the spotlight for a national television audience.
Of course, being on Netflix is only gonna make it available to those who subscribe to the streaming platform, which might be some consternation issues out there for fans that wanna be able to see the game.
And a lot of people believe it should be shown just on like a large station like ESPN, a large network like ESPN or, or even NBC Sports as well.
But not gonna happen this season.
And it'll, it'll be on Netflix tonight, Wednesday night, as the Giants and Yankees open the 2026 Major League Baseball season.
