Before the Knoxville Nationals roar to life, Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa hosts the Front Row Challenge on Monday, August 10, 2026.

This one's for the beer drinkers, the hell raisers, and the race fans of all.
It's the Front Row Challenge, and we're underway.
Ryan Timms jumps out early.
He gets away there as Carson McCart- or excuse me, Carson Macedo in that second spot beginning to close in on Ryan Timms as they race into three and four.
Timms through the middle of turn number four, Macedo up on the cushion as they race down the front straightaway.
Lap number one goes to Ryan Timms.
Remember Ryan Timms, that team had to bow out of competition last night during the Capitani Classic when the engine dropped a valve.
They've got to run on all eight cylinders.
Oh, look out, the 24 sideways exit turn number two.
That opens the door for Parker Price-Miller.
71 can move up into the third spot, and along for the ride is the Sander Engineering, Four C's Construction number 14 of Corey Day.
Day down the inside of the 71.
He's got the pass.
That's gonna move him up into the third spot.
Here comes McFadden back to the inside.
J-Mac pulls up alongside of Austin McCarl.
He'll slide across the middle of the racetrack to take the spot back from Austin McCarl, put James McFadden in six.
Here comes Kyle Larson.
Larson closing in.
Austin McCarl to the top.
Larson gets one, looking for two as they race out to four.
Here comes Kyle Larson, but Austin McCarl gets right back in the middle of him.
Boy, Larson, he was cutting the grass there through turns three and four, left side tires all the way down into the turf, takes it wide into one, brings it down across the racetrack, finds the moisture at the exit, able to work by the Country Builders number 88 here again.
Going low, not so that time.
Throws a slide on the 21.
They come around to the front straightaway.
Larson with the advantage, and he's gonna jump up two spots up into the sixth position.
Challenge coming back from the Tarleton and Sons entries.
Can't hold on to it.
Kyle Larson closing in on Danny Sams.
That'll be a race for position.
Sams in the fifth spot.
Kyle Larson gets it now.
Kyle Larson as we go double box on flow.
Kyle Larson gets by Danny Sams.
Your leader, Ryan Timms, in heavy, heavy traffic.
Carson Macedo trying to close back in.
He'll do so.
He cuts the gap now as they work down the back chute.
Trying to clear right now Doney.
Not gonna make it easy on him.
Goes to the high side.
Timms down the inside.
Throws the slide.
Now gonna hold up the 41, so that little bit of time Macedo made up right there taken away against slower traffic.
Give it then take it, as that's gonna allow the 14 of Corey Day into that mix.
Battle for the second spot is gonna be Macedo on the outside holding on to it.
Macedo able to hold off Corey Day as Kyle Larson has made his way up into the fourth spot now.
Macedo getting by the lap car of Doney as they race into turn number four.
Your leader, Ryan Timms, caught up behind lap traffic again as they race into one.
Macedo gets a lap car- Oh, no upside down.
Carson Macedo flipping into turn number two.
Over the right rear of Doney, and Macedo with a horribly torn up number 41.
Good news, we can see him moving around inside of the car as safety crews quickly making their way up to tend to the driver of the number 41.
He will come out, and man.
And Oski picks up the pace into turn number four.
They'll bring it around to the front straightaway.
We're back underway.
Kyle Larson tried to make a move there as they came off of turn number four.
Ryan Timms leading down the back chute now.
Larson closing in on Corey Day.
He'll look to the inside for second.
Corey Day not able to hold him back.
Larson locked in on the entry to turn number three, slides to the cushion in four.
He'll take the second spot.
Corey Day stays with him in third.
Corey Day back to the top of the racetrack trying to close in.
Parker Price-Miller and Danny Sams battling now for the fourth spot.
Sams with a good run to the outside, gets right back up next to the 71.
Close quarters out there, gonna tap tires on the back straightaway for a second.
Oh, a car upside down.
Red flag.

Boy, he hooked that cushion, and that car just turned and burned.
He was higher than the fence.
Ryan Timms will bring the field back to the cone here on the front straightaway.

Larson taking a look.
They get by the cone.
He'll set him up.
Tricks him, looks to the inside.
Now they're racing for the lead in turn number two.
Ryan Timms, Brian, is so good on the exit of turn number two up on the cushion.
Boy, and last time he protected the bottom.
Larson went to the top.
This time they swapped positions on the restart.
Timms, that car just absolutely weighed down and glued at the exit of turn number four, able to put distance quickly between himself and the 57 of Kyle Larson.
As you mentioned, Kyle Larson can think about six laps to go and not really worry about it because we see him do this often.
He's so patient.
He finds out where he wants to be, and now look at him start to close in lap after lap.
He had .6 seconds, the margin.
Now it's down to .2, excuse me, .422 between first and second.
Exit of turn number two, he's actually going up-- He's using the wall.
He is.
I saw it right there.
He kind of bounced it up off the guardrail.
Look at the run.
Big move there- Oh, contact turns number four.
The nose wing bashed up on Ryan Timms' car now as they race into turn number one.
Kyle Larson takes the lead.
Boy, Larson didn't quite clear on the slide, and somehow Ryan Timms doesn't go for a ride at the exit of turn number four.
Your leader in lap traffic, Danny Sams, the next car he'll encounter down the back straightaway.
They'll see the white flag this time by as they race into three and four, right through the middle of the lapped cars.
Threads the needle as he makes his way up to the cushion at the exit of turn number four.
Larson on his way.
He has won this race five times.
He won it in 2024.
He won it in 2025.
He is trying to get the hat trick here as he makes his way into turns three and four for the final time.
Checker flag is gonna fly.
The third year in a row, the sixth time in his career, Kyle Larson is the champion of the Front Row Challenge.
