The USAC Silver Crown Series returns to one of its most historic venues for the 72nd Ted Horn 100 at DuQuoin.

Ladies and gentlemen, the 72nd running of the Ted Horn 100 is green here at the Magic Mile.
Field gonna roll down to turns one and two.
We'll see who has the advantage on the opening lap right now.
It's gonna be Team Arizona at the front of this one.
Ooh, driver off the pace of the back straightaway, Moles in the 19.
As looks like actually going into turns three and four.
They'll come around here on lap number one.
Not sure what's going on with the 19.
Everybody kind of scrambling for a second, had to double-check to make sure we weren't going under caution.
That was not the case.
And it'll be Leary leading on lap number one.
Able to look, but not able to pass here.
Has another good run onto the back stretch, closes up several car lengths, so definitely has the drive, now just needs the timing.
Closing up, trying to look to the inside.
There he's got it, misstep by the 88.
He slips her off the guardrail.
Swanson says, "Thank you very much," and it's gonna cost him more than that.
There might be some issues brewing in the 88, as now Trey Osborne gonna take advantage.
He's gonna grab a two for one deal.
Swanson would thought he had the spot.
Osborne absolutely mashed the throttle and rolled by.

Now they are coming up on a slower machine here as they make their way into turns three and four.
This might shake things up a little bit for the drivers on the podium.
Grant in the 91 gonna swing wide.
They're working around the 15 of Fetter, and now Osborne tries to dip down the inside.
Can he get to the inside fast enough?
No, he cannot, has to let the car roll out just a little bit.
Now he's gonna take a look, the 91 up to the top.
The 27 tries to the bottom, not there, not enough grip, and Justin Grant's gonna hold onto third.
Had been out to nearly two and a half seconds just a couple laps ago, and actually brought it down to under a second.
Now Leary able to put some time back between himself and the 69.
We'll see how that shakes out here as they put lap number 35 in the books.
And able getting time back between them now, 2.408 seconds.
Now down to the inside, challenge for the second spot.
A quick slip-up is all it takes, and Justin Grant is there to capitalize in 91.

Trey Osborne has the run at the exit to number four, got it into turns one and two.
Oh, how quickly a lapped car can really break your momentum and your rhythm.
Takes a couple laps to get it back here down to the inside.
For second, he's got the run, he's got the pass.
Stock and Leary down the front straightaway.
Grant gonna fall to third.
Now Danner able to position himself on the inside as Osborne trying to look to the top.
The right rear of the 91 blocked his path, and Briggs Danner makes a bold move to the inside to turns one and two, got it.
Up on the slower car, believe that's Genneton right in front of him here.
Working around to the front straightaway.
Grant, he is held up, but Danner is there to capitalize, but now he has to clear the slower car.
Here comes Danner to the inside.
He's able to do so into turns one and two.
Grant's gonna look down on the bottom, Danner to the outside of the slower machine.
Does he clear?
Yes, he does.
So Danner with a great timed move on the front straightaway.
He is able to clear and take over the third spot.
Nothing materializing from it, though.

So close so many times, and finally broke into victory lane in the Crown Jewel of Silver Crown Racing one year ago.
