Highlights: Scheffler struggles to 2-over 72 Thursday at BMW
Coming off a win at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, Scottie Scheffler struggled to a 2-over 72 in the opening round of the BMW Championship.

A win last week in Memphis, and tough to gear it back up the next week, but if anybody does, normally it's Scottie.
However Yeah, that started to happen early on.
Where the putter just was not cooperating.
Huge horseshoe there at four.

Little bit of a misread there on how much it was gonna break left.
Bogeys at three, four, five.

He played from the rough too often early in the day as well.
So he's four over through his first seven holes.
Head-scratcher.
He would birdie the eighth, and then bogey 10.
This at 11.
Little more like it.
Starting to bring it back a little bit.
And you mentioned early on, if he, he could scramble, try to get back to even par perhaps.
Starting to get there.
The approach at 14.
Yeah.
Again, the key is throw it in the fairway.
Able to attack that hole location on the left.
And then the par saves coming home.
This at 16, real good.
But had to work hard for all of it.
All day long it was hard work.
Just six fairways that he hit.
So he's gotta figure that out.
