So the pace truck is off.
We've waited all day for this.
We got so close earlier, but the time is finally here.
Lane Riggs leading them to green.
Kaden Honeycutt on the outside, Jesse Love, Gio Ruggiero behind him.

We're racing at Nashville Superspeedway.
Lane did a good job waiting on that push from behind.
Really timed that start good to get in front of Kaden.
That's Jesse Love in his 77 fire truck just behind him.
There's that three wide you talked about, Jamie, off turn two already.
Ruggiero looking to the inside.
And that 17 truck loose there.
Christian Eckes heating him up in the 91.
Christian Eckes on the move.
He didn't seem overly confident about this truck and its ability after practice earlier.
That was a nice move through the center, wasn't it, Joe?
So all weekend long on lap number eight, NASCAR will do a moment of remembrance, a lap of silence, and that's what we're going to do here on lap number eight to honor the life and legacy of Kyle Busch.

Well, Chandler's the story early.

I know Riggs is leading the race, but this 38 truck is very fast.
99 had contact moments ago.
Here's a look at it.
Whoa, Caleb Costner's in the 93, and there was a big swoop to the bottom for the 99.
Maybe thought he was gonna chase the 38, but the 93 stuck in the middle.
What I saw a minute ago was the 99 of Ben Rhodes trying to clear himself down in front of Chandler Smith into turn three last lap.
It was really close.
These guys are fighting hard early in the race.
That was a dive bomb there.
Chandler said, "I'm done with you, bud" Biggest mover so far, Chandler Smith, up from 22nd.
On the move in sixth right now.
Quite the performance.
Stage one.
Green and white is in the air.
He has led all 45 laps of this one.
Lane Riggs, third stage win of 2026.
We had a lot of stuff go down on pit road.
You see the damage there to the 62 truck of Parker Retthloff.
He ended up pitting backwards in his stall.
So we'll take a look right here at what happened.
You see the black truck on the outside there making his way, turning into the pit.
Oh!
Manny Tyrell spins him around.
Man, that wasn't anything Manny could do.
Like, like this is just so abrupt.
He would've assumed maybe the 62 was going straight.

Rajah Caruth, Christian Eckes.
Wow, nice launch again by Lane Riggs in that 34 yellow truck.
He did it.
Fanning out all over behind him.
You saw Rajah Caruth down below the yellow line.
Whoa, big lose for Tanner Gray.
Look at this mess.
Holy cow.
Three wide.
These guys have learned that it's pretty difficult to pass, Joey, and they are getting it done on this restart.
Well, this is your best opportunity- Oh- every going around the 42 hard into the wall.
That's Tyler Reiff.
You see him there right in the middle of those two trucks, and just again, there's a door, truck on his door.
Oh.
Probably just, yeah, just kinda spun himself around there getting, you know, tight in that spot like that.
And that's just learning experience.
Over time will realize that, "Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have been in that spot or, or backing it up a little bit more into the corner, cutting a little bit more speed out."
Look at all those blocks they're throwing.

Oh, he got back to his outside though into turn one.

Looked like one of the Rams wound up backwards in turns one and two.
Oh, big damage.
That's the 25 truck, Carson Ferguson, his second race this year.
Think maybe it was Lane.

Looks like he just got loose.
Yeah, it looked like loose into turn one.
Watch Chandler Smith- Oh, we're gonna s- outside- Are they gonna- in the 38 truck I saw Stephen Parsons sideways on that restart pushing and shoving.
Grant Enfinger mixing things up in the top five, guys.
There's Christian Eckes in the 91.
We talked about his performance a couple years ago.
He's on it tonight too.

Now, Honeycutt did a big slider right there.
He throttled up really early trying to clear himself against Eckes.
Eckes does the crossover as they go down to turn oneBoy, when you make that dive bomb, you better make sure you get all the way clear, don't you?
Well, Eckes did the same play.

Caution again.
Jake Garcia, Jesse Love, a lot of damage once again.
Fourth caution of the night.
We went caution free through stage one.
Yeah.
It just, these restarts are crazy.
We're lucky we made it.
You can see a lot of damage- Tanner Gray there to the 15 truck of Gray.
Let's go onboard with Frankie Muniz.
Take us through from his perspective what happened here on the restart.
Gonna be a few rows ahead, and you can see those guys just started spinning.
Can't tell what started it.
Frankie said, "I'm getting low" He goes to the grass.
Gio Ruggiero getting shoved on the outside.

There they are, trying to make it five wide, Michael.
Jamie, when you said that earlier, I said, "Yeah, I bet so," and there it was.
See if we can get through these first couple of corners and get some space.
Look at that space that Lane Riggs has put on the field.
Wow.
Look at that, Joey.
That's a ton of distance in one lap.
Caution is out once again for the fifth time tonight.
Being told some debris on track, and from the 98.
He's out on track.
You saw how wrecked that truck was, but they put a bunch of Barebone on it and he has things hanging off all over the place.
Yeah, he doesn't have a spoiler either.
NASCAR needs to send him to the garage.
And that's where Tanner Gray in the 15 truck just went to as well.
And they'll have one final stage to figure it out, try to make a pass.
Nobody's been able to do it tonight, as Lane Riggs picks up the second stage win tonight.
It's the third time he's swept stages in his young career.
Look who's up front.
There's no Lane Riggs to be found in the first three or four rows.
These are the trucks that pitted under the last caution.
A lot of them stayed out here, Ross Chastain, Raja Carruth.
You see these trucks, and then there's a group of two tire trucks.
the 10, the 17 did two.
There's a- And then there's the ca- the 62 did fuel only.
Ca- They tried to top it off.
And then back there you see Caiden Honeycutt, you see Lane Riggs.
Look how far back they are.
Oh.
Different look up front, bunched up.

Ross Chastain with a great restart as they fan out.
You said those fast trucks, watch for Lane Riggs.
He's led every lap tonight until now.
Look at Caiden Honeycutt busting up the middle.

Look at Ben Rhodes in the 99 taking a look on Lane Riggs.
Tries to pick up that spot, he can't quite clear him.
Yeah, Lane Riggs did not have a good restart.
Honeycutt had a great restart.
Look at him right there, P5, as they race side by side for the lead.
Well, he hasn't had to restart in traffic tonight, Joey.
Didn't know what his truck was going to be like.
Great dive into turn one by Raja in the seven.
New leader.
Grabs the lead from Ross Chastain.
But look back there, three wide.
Dominant truck finds himself in a mess as Stefan Parsons goes to the bottom.
He is getting chewed up.

Truck after truck passing him.
Well- Lane Riggs fighting for everything, back in 12th now.
Let's go back a few moments ago.
Chandler Smith and Ty Majeski.
See Majeski on the bottom in the 88 right there.
Hits Chandler Smith, gets him sideways.
Great save by Chandler Smith, man.
He got clobbered in the back.
Cost him a lot of ground, but luckily he didn't spin that truck out.
And all this happens 'cause he's trying to save his teammate actually in front of him.
Problems for the 11 of Caiden Honeycutt.
Trying to make the pass for second on Ross Chastain, and it appeared that he lost power.
They brought a battery over the wall, Jamie.
You can see them going to work on the left rear there.
New battery.
Let's listen to his radio.
Just lost all the power.

It mostly went out once it went out.
Yeah, like it came back for a second it looked like almost, and then you gotta throw a new battery in this and, and hope that's what it is.
So chasing an electrical issue is de- never fun.
It's never, like, usually right there in front of you that you see it.
You gotta kinda go on this search, and what caused it?
That's gonna be the next question if it does get running.
Raja Carruth trying to hold onto the lead here with a big push behind him.

They fan out five wide behind him.

Contact all over the place.
And look what is right in front of Lane Riggs.
He's able to get through the mess, but lost some positions.
That was Corey LaJoie in the 10 all the way up there in the mix.
Lane Riggs was just buried in traffic back there.
Slow truck, I don't know if that was Ben Rhodes.
Look at Riggs to the bottom, just picking them up and putting them down a truck at a time.
Can he get back to the front?
I don't think he'll have enough time, but he's definitely making the most of the tires he's got right now.
And he does it.
Lane Riggs gets around the 88, moves into 10th, and caution is out once again.
Could be for that slow truck we saw.
Yeah, and that's exactly what Lane Riggs wanted to see.
We saw the issues on the restart.
He lost some spots because of all the trucks that were banging off of each other.
Lane's gonna have a chance to reset inside the top 10 and go at it again.
So he was slow.
He had to You see him lose a tire right here after the restartThere it goes Yeah, he definitely had a, a loose wheel.
He was coming into pit for it already Put the 34 truck into the top five.
He needs to get rid of Perez here in a hurry, and he's got a fast truck Perez doing such a nice job Ooh, got loose in front of him Ooh, big wiggle.
Sideways.
Can he hang onto it?
Big save.
All that momentum's gone, though.
Look at all the The whole field's catching him Oh, man, that's a tough break for Lane there.
Blocking three wide in the middle Guys, that lead up front for Rajah Caruth is shrinking.
Remember, Chandler Smith has 15 lap fresher tires than Rajah in first.
The 45, who's now getting passed by the 34.
Lane Riggs moves into third You watch how fast Lane Riggs goes up there toward those front two trucks.
He's gonna run out of time, I'm afraid, Joey, but he's gonna make a show out of it And now it's gonna be tough for Chandler, 'cause now you're playing defense and offense.
You're trying to go up there and win the race.
You're trying to keep the truck behind you that if you let him go, he's probably going to go up there and try to win the race, obviously.
So you're, you're doing both now You saw Lane there trying to swing wide in the corner.
Obviously, the truck isn't gonna handle as good when you're closing in on another truck, but he's taking a different line.
See that?
High to try to make sure he stays out of the wake of the 38.
That's gonna be pretty good And the 38 gets loose.
He's gonna get the move done here.
There it is Two and a half laps to go.
A pass for second.
Lane Riggs, one truck ahead of him trying to reclaim the lead.
Dominated the first half of this race I didn't think he'd get this far, Michael Oh, my goodness, he is there with two to go.
He's gonna run up again.
That was really good for him in one and two You see Rajah- The strategy mixed things up, guys Rajah knew it Rajah moved up a little bit too, trying to take that advantage away.
And look at Chandler.
He said, "I'm not done yet either" That's a great move by Rajah.
He knew that was gonna happen.
He's l- relying on his spotter.
Look, he's gonna open up the Oh, he's doing the outside To the outside.
Side by side.
Out of turn four, white flag will be in the air.
Tire rub.
You saw the smoke there.
Chandler Smith is there.
It's a three-man battle.
Final lap at Nashville.
Lane Riggs trying to clear the seven of Rajah Caruth, and he does it He does it with a bent- Wow left front fender.

He's done it all Two corners to go.
Lane Riggs, 98 laps led from the first starting position out of turn four, and he does it at the very end.
Lane Riggs wins at Nashville He was celebrating down the front straightaway, wasn't he?
I was hoping he didn't wreck.
I mean, this is- the most exciting way you can possibly win, from the back with tires, pass everybody.
