Hocevar explains move leading to Lap 83 Michigan crash
Carson Hocevar says the cars ahead stacked up on the Lap 83 restart at Michigan and that his evasive move likely triggered the multicar crash.

Just watching your car, in-car camera there on that restart, and, and we were talking about it during the stage break how you're, it's a game of inches on those restarts.

The line checked a little bit more than you anticipated?
Yeah, I, I mean, it looked like he You know, they kind of like accordioned a little bit, and I, I really didn't expect it, and it caught me off guard.
So, like, I turned left.
I was I mean, I was probably gonna go three wide, but it kind of caught me off guard, and I'm shocked it really, like, spun him left.
But I think that ultimately my evasiveness probably wrecked him and, and everybody there, so I- Do you look in the mirror like, "Oh, damn" Yeah.

I could At least he could've got more torn up.
