Obviously, you started at Syracuse, played a couple years, transferred, played at Louisville.
and I believe you had an injury, I believe, late in the year that kind of maybe affected your draft position.
You got drafted in the sixth round.
So you just wanna kind of go through that, you know, any, any kind of insight there?
Yeah.
So like you said, I started at Syracuse in 2019.
I played from Syracuse Or I played from 2019 to 2020 at Syracuse.
I got hurt COVID year, gave me a little time to, you know, think about my future and, like, just putting myself in the best position to get to the league.
And so I came to the conclusion of just transferring to Louisville, and I played at Louisville from 2021 to 2023.
But, I didn't really get an opportunity to play, actually play, like, starting, like, getting some carries until my last year at Louisville.
And, yeah.
And then it worked out, I balled out, and now I'm here in Houston.
That's crazy to see.
I mean, you meet all these people, especially, like, you know, later in guys, like NFL is crazy.
I mean, some guys- Yeah may not have-- You assume, like, you have to have this Heisman or, like- Yeah illustrious college career, but it's not always the case.
So, like, what was that like mentally for you?
Like, I guess obviously now it's, like, looking back it's, it's dope, but, like, I'm sure it's pretty troubling and trying in those moments, right?
Like, are you starting to have self-doubt and stuff like that?
Yeah.
Well, for me, like, my story, like, I always been playing behind the eight ball and, earning my spot even since way back to youth league.
Like, I always had to earn my spot.
So just getting to college and realizing, like, the political side of things and, you know, just not having the opportunity, I, I was prepared for it 'cause I already been through it my whole life.
And so I just trusted the process and waited for my opportunity and just took advantage of it, and that's when I, you know, just shot up.
