Another second place.

I think that's five second place finishes I've had in majors now.

So yeah, it's, pretty, pretty annoying, but I played really well out there today.

Obviously missed a couple of putts on the back nine, but it was quite windy.

It was quite hard to putt out there, and I hit the ball fantastic.

So fair play to Nelly, for, for, for back-to-back wins.

but I, I just love playing in the majors.

Like, I pretty much only get up for the majors.

It's really weird.

I just love playing in majors.

Like, if it's a normal week to week, I stru- struggle sometimes getting, like, the motivation.

But when it comes to major week, I just love it.

Like, if I just even just make the cut, I feel like at the weekend I can just make a massive charge.

Do you know what I mean?

but no, I, I, I, I loved it out there.

It was so much fun.

The crowds were great, and it's nice to see so many young kids around.

John.

To, to what degree were you aware of the scores of everybody?

I was wa- I was watching, but I was thinking, "If I get to 10 under, if I get to 10 under, I will That's, that, that should be good enough."

So I was just trying to chase to get to 10 under.

Obviously, I didn't get there, but I hit a great shot into the last hole.

I was out that rough, and it just, it just had a massive bounce coming out the rough, but I couldn't pitch it short because it was just thick, 'cause it's, like, quite sticky, the fringe there.

But I hit a good shot and then made a good up and down, so I was pretty pleased to hold that putt.

W- what are the emotions for someone who will never experience contention at the end of a US Open?

What are you thinking?

Uh- What are you feeling?

I love it.

I love that feel.

I love that feel of being under the gun and under pressure.

Like, it's not like a life and death situa- situation, but you know that adrenaline that you get, like, that adrenaline, like you can't put anything wr- like you can't put, put a foot wrong 'cause you gotta just carry on going, and when you do, you gotta bounce back.

I just, I just love that feeling.

Like, I'll be on a massive come down tomorrow.

Like, I'll be depressed and everything, not because I come second, just because, like, the adrenaline that goes through my b- body.

but I just, I, I love that feeling.
