Hutson On Course To Make Canadiens’ History
Montreal Canadiens' defenseman Lane Hutson had an excellent rookie season, but he's doing even better as a sophomore, and he's on his way to making history once again.

After weeks of speculation, the trade deadline actually came and went, and the Montreal Canadiens failed to do any move to address, the issues they currently face.
that is to say, their goaltending that's been subpar, the fact that the coach doesn't trust the sixth defensemen, whether it's Arber Xhekaj or Jayden Struble who's playing.
And, also the fact that they're kind of missing a top six forward to complete the, Suzuki and Caufield line when Slafkovsky is playing on the second line.
while some fans are disappointed, to say the least, it's understandable that Kent Hughes decided to stay away from older guys who were available.
he made it quite clear that he's sticking to his plan to make the Canadiens a long-term perennial contender, and that to do that, he can't actually just acquire older player to, you know, fill the holes in his lineup.
He wants the younger players, the one-- the ones they've been working with for years, to actually grow into their role and, to learn to, be better and gain some experience, and that's how they intend to win.
whilst that's a commendable plan, the question is will Martin St-Louis actually give them the opportunity to get that opportunity to play and to learn, to get some experience?
Because whether it's Xhekaj or Struble that's playing on the blue line, they struggle to even get ten minutes of ice time right now, and that's just not enough for, to have a proper rotation during the playoffs.
