J.J. McCarthy Struggles Through Tough Training Camp Practice
J.J. McCarthy had a rough day at Vikings training camp, but he did finish with a couple of encouraging throws. Tyler Forness breaks down what went wrong, the bright spots late in practice, and why Monday's padded session could be a chance for the young quarterback to bounce back.

He did redeem himself a little bit at the end of practice, so if you want a little bit of positives, you're gonna get it, where he threw a nice deep over for about 20, 25 yards, and then he found Dylan Bell on a hank concept, which is a 15-yard curl.
And those are really popular within the McVay tree, and that's going to be huge for McCarthy to kind of build on, because it was a really bad day.
Just, there was nothing redeeming about it other than those two plays.
Just something to forget, and hopefully you move on, and when the pads come on, come Monday, he has a much better day
