Jack Hillgrove on Mike McCarthy's 6-2 Start and the Steelers at the Bye

Jack Hillgrove of WPGH Pittsburgh looks at the Steelers at 6-2 heading into the bye on a four-game win streak. He calls Jaylen Warren an offensive player of the year candidate and TJ Watt a defensive player of the year contender with 7.5 sacks. He gives defensive coordinator Patrick Graham most of the credit for a defense that is playing better with mostly the same players, and the rest to McCarthy's defensive assistants. Hillgrove also admits he was wrong to question the McCarthy hire. He reviews the 2026 draft class, noting that all 10 picks made the 53-man roster.
