Jake Paul calls out Dana White over Zuffa Boxing’s sanctioning shift

Jake Paul criticized Dana White after White signaled flexibility toward boxing's major sanctioning bodies, a shift with implications for Zuffa Boxing's matchmaking. At a recent Zuffa Boxing presser, White said he would work with the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO on a case-by-case basis. Paul highlighted the change on social media, citing the need for alignment among promoters and sanctioning bodies. White previously stated ahead of Zuffa Boxing's planned 2025 launch that the promotion would avoid those organizations. The promotion has expanded with signings including Jai Opetaia, Conor Benn and Shakur Stevenson, and is co-promoting the Ryan Garcia vs. Benn welterweight title bout on Sept. 19 in Las Vegas.
