Ja'Marr Chase and Jalen Davis were going at it during Cincinnati Bengals training camp!

John Sheeran discusses a fight that broke out at Cincinnati Bengals training camp.

Video Transcript

Fight did break out in the first training camp practice for the Bengals.

Ja'Marr Chase and Jaylen Davis were going at it.

There was some talk, I guess, before practice according to Tee Higgins, and that kind of translated onto the field, and then apparently Ja'Marr Chase ripped off T.J. Turner's helmet, flung it across the field, then Jaylen Davis kind of squared up with Ja'Marr Chase afterwards.

There was just a lot of tensions and a lot of heated words.

You know, it didn't really disrupt practice that much, but it did involve, like, basically both sides of the ball to kind of break it up and everything like that.

This will probably not be the last fight that we see in training camp, and my thoughts on it are as long as no one gets hurt, there is literally no harm done.

These are just guys who are ultra-competitive.

They're gonna talk their talk.

They're gonna get after it before and after the snap.

And as training camp progresses, when these guys only go up against each other, those tensions are only gonna rise.

But you like to see the tenacity.

You need to see the tenacity at the beginning of camp.

It means the guys are hungry to compete and hungry to best one another, and that is where iron sharpens iron.

And I think especially for Jaylen Davis, I think he is coming with a chip on his shoulder.
