Crew chief James Small says Chase Briscoe continues to make steady gains and credits him for listening, adjusting and executing on the way to victory at Chicagoland.

And James, just to first confirm your suspicions, it's 46 points out of fifth, and you are in eighth as it stands.
but big picture with, with Chase, just from season one to season two, I know obviously last year the seven poles, but what is the big difference that you have seen personally from him from year one to year two?
What kind of jumps has he made this year?
incremental.
you know, I think we made some really big strides last year, and, you know, there's been certain things we've really been trying to focus on and, you know, every week he's just incrementally getting better and better.
you know, and there's still, you know, a lot we can do to be better, honestly, and, you know, it's my job to just push him to his absolute limit.
and, you know, I think last few weeks, you know, last week he did exceptional job, you know, really putting, you know, things we worked on into practice and, and definitely adjusting during the race and getting better and, and the same thing here tonight.
you know, we, we struggled a little bit with some things on, Friday and, and, and yesterday was, was not great.
you know, although we qualified seventh and, you know, we expect better.
and you know, he did, he did a great job tonight.
You know, we started off, you know, stage one just needing to work on a few things and, you know, he-- The big thing about him, he, he can listen and put it into practice, you know, in the car and, you know, that's one thing and he's, he's, he's not vocal.
He doesn't, you know, complain and he just gets after it.
So if, you know, if we tell him something, he believes in us and, you know, he does a great job of executing on that.
