Jared Goff Fires Back at Ben Johnson's 'Not So Mobile' Joke

After Chicago 's 27-7 win over the Eagles on Monday night, Bears coach Ben Johnson was asked about building an offense around Caleb Williams and 38-year-old Case Keenum . He joked that he had "a little history" of calling plays for "someone not so mobile." Johnson spent three seasons as Jared Goff 's offensive coordinator in Detroit . On the St. Brown podcast, Goff said Johnson "can't seem to get out of his own way" with the media but saw no ill intent, and hinted he's saving a comeback for Thanksgiving, when the Lions and Bears meet. Johnson called Goff Tuesday morning to smooth it over, and Dan Campbell praised his quarterback's cerebral game.
