Can Jefferson get back to elite production?

Everyone knows Justin Jefferson is an elite receiver. Can the Vikings do enough to help him put up elite numbers?

Video Transcript

Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson does not need to prove that he's an elite fantasy player, Denny Carter.

He's had rough years two of the past three seasons.

It was not his fault most of the time.

Really, really shaky quarterback play.

Quarterback play might still be kinda shaky for 2026.

We don't really know what to expect from Kyler Murray.

We are expecting an upgrade, however.

Other people have been questioning, maybe even doubting Justin Jefferson.

When asked if he was still an elite receiver, he said they will know after this year.

Denny, will we know?

Wide receiver six right now, going late first round.

Is this an elite player being overlooked because of forces beyond his control last season?

You know, maybe by a, a, a little bit, you know, maybe he could go three or four picks higher.

But I really do think that we might be a little bit cautious about the Vikings quarterback situation because, you know, Kyler Murray is, is a, a guy who has not been super consistent for his wide receiver ones over the years.

We think of Marvin Harrison Jr.

In, Arizona most recently.

And, you know, we're one injury away from JJ McCarthy possibly being under center again for Minnesota.

So there are kind of paths to another low production, relatively speaking, season for Justin Jefferson.

I think he- his ADP is fine.

Kyler hopefully will be an improvement.

Kyler also had something of a love-hate relationship with DeAndre Hopkins.

It's a deep Viking skill core.

A lot of variables at play here.

But I guess at the end of the day, this is an elite player.

He has an upgraded quarterback situation.

We're cautiously optimistic.

We will let you know if that changes at rotoworld.com.
