What are we thinking that third pick could look like?
Well, all things being equal, Chase Reid, the defenseman with Sault Ste.
Marie of the OHL, uh- Mm-hmm is my number three pick.
Uh- Okay incredible story where, you know, it was just a couple of years ago that Chase Reid was cut by USHL Waterloo, and he had to go the, to the NAHL to, to find his game, and he- The null.
Yeah, the null.
He dominated.
You know, he, he found his game there.
Wow.
Went over to the Sault, for the second half, played really well.
And then this year, absolutely dominated in the OHL.
That's awesome.
He's got good size.
He's a great skater.
He has the highest offensive upside of, any defenseman in the class, at least in terms of, you know, OHL defensemen.
maybe in the entire CHL.
and he does play defense as well.
Like, he, you know, people sort of focus in on his offense and his skating, but he does defend really well on top of that.
So you're getting a player that'll help you in all three zones.
And again, you know, like, we're probably just seeing the beginning of his potential.
Chase Reid is also committed to Michigan State for next season, so he's going to a great program, and again, one that has a tremendous weight room.
I've seen it myself.
It's incredible.
So, you know, you're getting a player that's gonna g- gonna get stronger and might even get faster in the process.
He's gonna play against great competition in the Big Ten.
So I mean, the sky's the limit with this kid.
