Jorge Masvidal Won’t Feel Bad if McGregor Fights Him Instead of Chandler

Jorge Masvidal said he would not feel bad if he secures a Conor McGregor fight ahead of Michael Chandler, citing that the UFC ultimately decides matchups and fighters have limited control. Jorge Masvidal recently called out Conor McGregor for June's White House card, while Michael Chandler has waited nearly three years for the matchup and trained with Masvidal in the past. Dana White recently suggested the promotion has moved on from McGregor vs. Chandler after UFC 303 fell through due to McGregor's injury. Masvidal last fought in 2023 and is on a four-fight skid. McGregor has been out since 2021, and he and Chandler coached The Ultimate Fighter 31 without a bout materializing.
