Judkins may be touchdown dependent in 2026
Patrick Daugherty and Denny Carter discuss Quinshon Judkins participating in drills at OTAs and what his fantasy impact could be returning from a major leg injury.
Video Transcript
When Quinshon Judkins went down last week 16, he was diagnosed with a fractured fibula, a broken ankle, Denny Carter, super severe injury, the kind of injury that had fantasy players wondering would he even be ready for week one in 2026?
We don't really know the answer to that yet.
We do know he's been out there on the practice field during OTAs.
You know, pads are not on, of course.
They're really running against air.
but the new coaching staff is getting a look at him.
Judkins, super productive in early downs last year.
What do we expect his usage to maybe be in 2026 under new head coach Todd Monken?
I think he's, he'll be fine as an RB2, maybe a flex option because really, Pat, he's going to be touchdown reliant.
And I say that because, you know, he's not going to be a guy who's going to give you a bunch of receptions per week.
He's not even going to be running that many routes if his, usage holds up into 2026.
And, you know, that's a problem that makes him a little bit sensitive to game script.
We know, how this goes for some running backs.
Now saying that I think this Browns offense could be better than we think could produce the sort of positive and neutral game script that a running back like Judkins needs to get there for fantasy.
So I am, optimistic to a point on Judkins for 2026.
Yeah.
Judkins has two main questions for 2026, his health and his fit in the new offense.
He's apparently halfway to answering the first one on track.
Do we hope be ready for training camp?
Then we can answer the question.
How does he fit with Todd Monken?
Quinshon Judkins, a player I know will have several item, items on this summer on rotorworld.com.
