We saw Kayla McBride put up 10 threes.
That is a WNBA record.
43 points, that is a career best for her in her 13th year in the league.
This is what Kayla McBride had to say after the game of her life.
I mean, the last time I played, with, like, a true point guard was, was Courtney Vandersloot, and it was some of the best, like, most fun basketball that I, I played.
And it's not that I haven't had amazing moments with Court, but, like, there's just something about playing with, like, a true PG that, like, just as a shooter, you know, you get that ball in the laces with that velocity.
Just, oh, it's just like kid in a candy store, like, truly.

I love this quote because they've, they've kind of touched on it before, but I mean, first of all, for Kayla McBride, if we remember back to the end of last season, that felt like the end of a very mini era for the Lynx.
They had run it all back, had almost the entirely same roster.
And for Kayla McBride, she's enter- she's entering her 13th year.
She doesn't know if this is ever gonna happen for her.
What does the next year look like?
They come out.
They get Olivia Miles.
They lead the league without Phe.
Phe is back.
They are still leading the league.
And the reason I like this quote from Kayla McBride is she's talking about how the addition of Olivia Miles makes everyone around them better.
You know, to have a true point guard and an elite point guard, all due respect to Courtney Williams, it also helps Courtney Williams.
You open up opportunities for a player like Kayla to do what she does best, right?
You allow Phe to really operate down low.
You have someone with the vision, we talk about this with Caitlin all of the time in terms of her team, to find the open shooter.
You know, to get Phe into the paint, spray it out if you have to, or finish at the rim.
You know, Courtney Williams had that point guard position for a couple of years in Minnesota, and they played well.
Clearly, they were championship favorites.
But now you move her back to her more natural position.
You bring in a true point guard, even though she's young, and they are simply that much better.
I loved her little mention about it's like a kid in a candy store.
That's absolutely what the Lynx feel like this year.
It feels like one through five, they might have the best starting lineup in the WNBA.
We don't know what the rest of the season looks like.
We don't know how the World Cup is gonna impact things.
The playoffs are an entirely different beast, but they are set up very, very well simply by, making that trade a couple years ago and receiving a number two pick after they were the best team in the league.
