Kent Matthes on How to Build a Modern Baseball Agency & the Potential Impact of a Work Stoppage in MLB

Kent Matthes, Founder of Stadium Ventures and certified MLBPA agent, joins Sports Business Radio for a conversation. Matthes launched Stadium Ventures, a baseball agency, in March 2022 after working as an agent at CAA and WME. Before becoming an agent, Matthes was an All-American outfielder at Alabama, where he led the country in home runs. He played professionally up to Triple-A with the Rockies and A's and was on both teams' 40-man rosters. We discuss the current state of MLB, the potential impact of a lockout in MLB, how Matthes does his job as an agent and how Matthes has built his baseball agency.
