Knicks Insider Ian Begley Warns a Karl-Anthony Towns Trade Could Be in Play
Fresh off ending a 53-year title drought, the New York Knicks have a money problem: Karl-Anthony Towns has a player option for next season, and their rumored four-year, $200 million offer falls short of what he wants. On the Knicks Film School Podcast, insider Ian Begley said one side has to move. If talks are still far apart in January, especially if the team struggles, he thinks the Knicks must consider a trade instead of risking losing Towns in free agency for nothing.
