Ko gets out of bunker, coolly saves par at No. 3

Lydia Ko took a bunker shot from her knees before saving par at hole three during the 2026 AIG Women's Open.

Just shows how awkward this stance is.

Even on the takeaway, you've gotta be careful of the back of the bunker here.

When you're on your knees, you can't rotate that lower body, so it ends up becoming a much more of a upper body, handsy swing.

Makes it very difficult to get any sort of consistency with that strike.

Get this within 20 feet, you've done very well.

Oh, that was so unlucky.

That was very well played from Lydia.

Par of the week, maybe of the year.

Lydia Ko.

You can see ball back of her stance, and exactly like Inci had said, banked it right into the slope.
