Mike, for a Kings team that was already on the older end of the spectrum in terms of the rest of the league, what do you think of these moves for Ken Holland?

And, and do you see them, no pun intended, do you see them aging well?

Five new members of the Southern California Retirement Club.

I, you know, this, this goes hand in hand with what he did last year with the Cody Cece signing and, Joel Armia and Brian Dumoulin.

I mean, he just, he's continuing to add age and he really didn't address the, the areas of need for the LA Kings.

I mean, Anze Kopitar retires.

Now they don't have a, really don't have a number one center.

He sort of operated around the periphery.

Now some of these, you know, Zuccarello is only a million dollars.

Corey Perry's only a million dollars, which means at the deadline, they'll flip them for draft picks when they're out of the playoff picture.

But I mean, you know, I, I, they're not costly, but you're, I mean, this is sort of signifies that your organization is so bereft of young talent that you have to keep plugging in the 30 plus players.

And that's not a, that's not a winning formula.

Now, Peter Laviolette's coming in as a coach and maybe he had, a rubber stamp on some of these players, but I just think that this is the same old, same old with Ken Holland, with the LA Kings.

And I don't think it's going to work out well for him.
