Lean on over for Broncos, Chargers win totals
Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick break down their best bets regarding early predictions on 2026 win totals in the AFC West, where they expect the Broncos and Chargers to exceed expectations.

Okay, let's talk some AFC win totals.
Kansas City Chiefs, as is the annual norm, they have the highest win total in the division, though it is in a lot more flux than it usually is.
They are set at 10 and a half.
The Broncos and Chargers both set at nine and a half, and then the Raiders at five and a half.
What do you like here, Drew?
Yeah, I think we can effectively rule out the Raiders.
This is still a very, very incomplete team, and I think we're gonna get a huge swath of the season with a rookie quarterback, which means they are gonna have a tough time getting to six wins, in my opinion, especially because the rest of this division is very good.
I completely agree with the Chiefs at the top just because of Mahomes, but that is still a bit of a flawed team, and I think they are gonna flirt with that 10, 11 line.
So I'm gonna pass on betting over-under on Chiefs at 10 and a half.
Broncos at nine and a half to me feels very low.
not very low, but lower than it ought to be.
my baseline for them would've been 10 and a half, and I think ultimately they are also kind of in that 10 to 11 camp.
Chargers are fascinating because if they have a good, you know, healthy year, you would expect a significant improvement over what we saw from them last year.
But boy, oh boy, do they have a nasty schedule.
They have the biggest rest disadvantage of anyone, in football and in general, just, like, no easy games really, except for the Raiders.
So, I would say that, Chargers and Broncos are slight leans for me to the over.
Raiders lean to the under, and the Chiefs number looks perfect.
Yep, I think that's pretty reasonable.
I think my favorite of these four would be the over on the Broncos.
Yeah.
Just think this is a very high-floor team.
The defense has carried over somewhat year to year, and though defense is not as stable, the principal characters are returning and there is enough youth there that you'd be reasonably confident there's going to be a good defense.
The offensive line is in very good shape.
I think Jalen Watt will, will add a huge dimension to this team.
And then Bo Nix, I think even though there were rough patches, think particularly back to the Jets game, overseas, but I thought he finished the season much stronger and was very impressive, in that playoff game against Buffalo.
So Bo Nix, pretty high-floor quarterback at this point, and still young and can improve.
So I think the Broncos will be a double-digit win team.
