Lebron James knew Steph Curry was going to be the greatest shooter of all time, even when he wasn't in the NBA yet.

We know what you're thinking but this isn't one of those cases where LeBron makes stuff up for no reason.

In fact, Steph still has the receipts to prove it.

Back when he was a sophomore at Davidson, Steph went on one of the most incredible scoring displays in NCAA history.

In Davidson's Sweet 16 game in Michigan against Wisconsin, LeBron was in town and decided to see Steph play up close; and well, Steph put on a show and scored 33 points.

Later that year, Steph returned the favor and went to one of LeBron's games when the Cavs faced the Charlotte Bobcats.

LeBron made sure that Steph didn't leave the game empty-handed though and gave him a pair of shoes and a signed Cavs jersey with the message that said, "The best player in North Carolina."

To this day, Steph still has the jersey by the wall of his childhood bedroom.

If the saying work until your idols become your rivals was ever a real life story, Steph and LeBron's story would definitely be it.
