Lincoln Riley Pushes Back on Exit Talk as 6-2 USC Gets No. 2 Ohio State Next
Lincoln Riley is shutting down talk that he could leave USC as the pressure builds in his fifth season. "I came here because I believe in this place and none of that has changed whatsoever," Riley said, pointing back to his move from Oklahoma to Los Angeles. The Trojans are 6-2 with no ranked wins after losses to Oregon and unranked Wisconsin, their playoff hopes are hanging by a thread, and No. 2 Ohio State is up next. Riley won 11 games in his first season but hasn't reached double digits since. He also called his relationship with athletic director Jennifer Cohen, who did not hire him, "fantastic."
