Lions LB Jack Campbell Has Full Lower-Body Movement After Neck Injury

Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell says he has full movement in his lower body and is making progress with his upper body after suffering a neck injury Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. In his first comments, released through the team Wednesday, Campbell said he is encouraged and optimistic, taking his recovery one day at a time, though he acknowledged work and possible challenges remain. He credited his faith and family, and he thanked the athletic trainers and medical staff who treated him on the field. Campbell was hurt making a tackle in the second half, was carted off and taken straight to the hospital, where he remains.
